Beauty and the Bastard

Beauty and the Bastard is a 2005 Finnish musical romantic drama film directed by Dome Karukoski and written by Pekko Pesonen. Its original Finnish title is Tytt sin olet thti, which means Girl you are a star. It stars Pamela Tola and Samuli Vauramo. Eero Milonoff, Joonas Saartamo, Mikko Leppilampi and Mikko Kouki play supporting roles. It is the featurefilm debut of director Dome Karukoski, who had previous experience from commercials and short films. The music was composed by Jukka Immonens Friend Music.

A woman dulled with praise, Nelli Pamela Tola, is well on her way to MedSchool thanks to her parents, but dreams of a career as a singer. She is desperate to find a demo to show off her talents.Sune is a crude agent who is afraid of women. To show his friends otherwise, he makes a bet that he can get Nelli to sleep with him. His friends dont believe a beauty like her would be even remotely interested in him. But meanwhile Nelli sees an opportunity to get herself a free demo. ........
